I have worked in physiotherapy for over a decade, primarily in the Albany region, where I developed a strong following and reputation for a hands-on, results-driven approach to treatment.

Over that time, my work has become increasingly focused on helping people with stubborn musculoskeletal pain — the kind of pain that often needs more than generic exercises or a quick appointment. My approach combines precise manual therapy, advanced dry needling, soft tissue work, mobilisation and manipulation techniques, and targeted rehabilitation to improve pain, flexibility, movement and long-term function.

In 2026, I opened my own professional, well set-up home-based clinic to offer a more personalised and unrushed treatment experience. The clinic was created for people who value longer appointments and experienced, hands-on care tailored to their specific problem. I also have plans to open a three-room clinic space in the heart of Torbay in late 2026.

Dry needling has become a particular area of interest in my work. I have spent many years refining and developing dry needling techniques to help stimulate and release tight, painful or restricted muscle tissue. I have found this approach particularly useful for persistent neck and shoulder pain, pelvic and hip-related tension, glute activation issues, and knee pain.

I am also currently undertaking PAANZ's newly released Certificate in Acupuncture & Dry Needling, continuing to build and further advance my skillset in these specialities.

More recently, I have also developed an interest in, and had success with, more specific conditions, including TMJ disorders, plantar fasciitis and chronic pain presentations.

My aim is to provide treatment that is practical, clear and genuinely useful — helping people understand what is going on and feel meaningful improvement quickly.

Outside of physiotherapy, I enjoy maintaining a healthy lifestyle through boxing, gym workouts and occasionally surprising people with my poker skills!
